Project Description: My project is lamp. It is made out of wood with multipul circular slits. The lamp is white atop a black cylander base.

Materials: In order to complete this project I used the lazer cutter to create the main body of the lamp, and I used the 3D printer in order to make the base. I also utilized a motor, some LED lights, and wires.

Tools: In the process of creating my lamp I used the lazer cutter, 3D printer, and wire cutters..

What was the most challenging part of the project?: The most challenging part of the project was time managment.

Were there times when things didn’t work as you expected?: One thing that didn't go as expected was the shape of the base.

What did you do to resolve the problems you ran into?: To fix the base I altered the origional design and printed a new one.

What was the most fun?: The thing I found the most fun was putting together the box that I lazer cut.

What did you learn by going through this process?: By going through this process I learned how to use a 3D printer and a lazer cutter.

Were there new tools you had to learn about in order to complete the project?: To complete this project I had to learn how to use the 3D printer as well as the lazer cutter.

In your attempts to make things work, did you find yourself trying new strategies or approaches?:To make the way the light flowed out more efficient I made the slits circular instead of rectangular.

What would you change?: If you had the time and resources, what would you change about your project if given the opportunity?:  I would not change anything about my project because I really like it the way it is.
